Shedfield Pétanque Club annual membership = £30
Southern Counties/Pétanque England annual membershipis & Insurance = an additional £28
Club Sessions:
Friday night is club nights at SPC from about 7pm (6PM duing winter season) to 10pm we also play on Sunday mornings bewteen 10am & 1pm, we welcome visitors and potential new members. Just come along and join us, throughout the year.
Playing:
New players are very welcome to come and give Pétanque a try.
The game is easy to play and the basics are quick to learn.
You may be any age, fit or not, tall or short anyone can play. Pétanque is one of the easiest sports to play, but perhaps, one of the hardest sports to master.
We have spare boules if you do not yet own any. So why not come along and try,we will welcome you and get you started in this wonderful sport.
New players are covered by Pétanque England's insurance while they are trying the game, but after playing 3 times your PE tryout insurance is no longer valid so potential members will need to apply for Membership of the Club. You may also apply for an Pétanque England licence. An PE Licence provides ongoing insurance, and although not mandatory at Shedfield PC is is highly reccomended.
Visiting Boule Players are welcome, we enjoy playing against experienced players from other pétanque clubs.
